About Me
My name is Joshua Pestano. I am a (re)insurance professional who has been involved in the insurance industry since the year 2008.
Through my work, I have had the opportunity to view the industry from a wide perspective. Working as a (re)insurance professional has allowed me to understand how risk is transferred between persons and corporations to insurance companies, how insurance companies spread risks amongst each other, through reinsurance contracts, and why said arrangements are beneficial to all the parties involved.
I have acquired multiple insurance industry accreditations including the Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute [ACII] (United Kingdom) and the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter [CPCU] (United States) designations. I have also completed presentations (webinars) and written works (articles) that have been published for audiences of credentialed insurance industry professionals.
I have helped customers find insurance solutions to address the risks that they face. Helping develop insurance programs in the following classes of business:
